Smileyville – Help Smileys Find their Perfect Friend
InterAction Studios, the developer who brought you the Chicken Invaders series, comes with a fun game for Windows and Mac called Smileyville. The goal in the game is quite simple – you have to help the smileys, who are social creatures, to find their perfect companion. The thing is that the smileys, even though they crave the affection a friend can give them, like to be unique. They don’t like other smileys that look like them. This means that a smiley’s friend needs to be the exact opposite of that smiley.
Smileyville has three game modes to offer:
Action – match smileys as fast as you can before the time runs out. As a thermometers slowly empties, you have to match pairs of smileys.
Quest – carefully match smileys so that each house is completely cleared. You have to match all the smileys in the house. Unmatched smileys at the end will fill up one thermometer slot. When the thermometer fills up, the game is over.
Puzzle – solve each puzzle by matching all smileys in one long chain. To solve a puzzle you must connect all the smileys in one long chain. You must make sure that each new smiley you add to the chain has different features from the previous one.
The game will keep you busy for some time. You have to visit 8 neighborhoods and 50 houses in total to finish the game.
Before you go get Smileyville and put it to the test, take a look at the technical details presented below:
Download – the download weighs in at 2.4MB, which is quite lightweight. At such a lightweight download size it will only take a moment to get the application off the web and onto your computer.
Supported OS – at the time of writing this and according to the developer, Smileyville provides support for Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP, Vista, and Windows 7. There’s a Mac version of Smileyville as well.
Limitations – limited gameplay in the trial version.
